OUR STORY

Hello and welcome to BoxGrove! We are Kayla, Melissa and Ben.

We are a family-run, working farm and vineyard, and absolutely love hosting special events!

BoxGrove Farm was bought and established in 1971 by Thellie and Barry Renshaw (Kayla & Melissa’s grandparents). They began construction of the log cabins and units the following year.

It served as a farm, B&B accommodation and event space; seeing thousands of guests enjoy parties, short stays and functions over the years.

In 2012, the girls, along with their mother Karin, inherited the property. Kayla and Melissa opened a hair salon, Luxe Hair and Body, while Karin continued to operate the accommodation and livestock on the farm.

After 3 years of prosperity and success in opening Luxe, Kayla, Melissa and Ben (having worked in the wedding industry) thought they should continue to showcase the beautiful heritage that BoxGrove has to offer.

The girls’ mother Karin, now semi-retired, manages the sheep and cattle on the farm.

In 2016, the function centre and surrounding gardens were built; ultimately, to share their rural piece of paradise with the public.

And so began the redevelopment of BoxGrove.
