OUR STORY

Hello and welcome to BoxGrove! We are Kayla, Melissa, Ben and Ben (yes, there are two!). We are a family run working farm and absolutely love hosting special events!

BoxGrove Farm was bought and established in 1971 by Thellie and Barry Renshaw (Kayla & Melissa’s grandparents). They began construction of the log cabins and units the following year.

It served as a farm, B&B accommodation and event space; 
seeing thousands of guests enjoy parties, short stays and functions over the years.

In 2012, the three girls inherited the property. Kayla and Melissa opened a hair salon, Luxe Hair and Body, while their mother Karin continued to operate the accommodation and livestock on the farm.

After 3 years of prosperity and success in opening Luxe, the sisters (sharing in their grandparents passion for entertaining) thought they should continue to showcase the beautiful heritage that BoxGrove has to offer, in their own unique way. Their mother Karin, now semi-retired, still manages the sheep and cattle on the farm.

In 2016 they joined with business and life partners, Benjamin and Ben, to build another business and host weddings and events; ultimately, to share their rural piece of paradise with the public.

And so began the redevelopment of BoxGrove.
